Creating an account
Create a Freespirit Account:
1) Download Freespirit from Google Play or the App Store.
2) Open the app.
3) Follow the signup process or Tap Profile in the bottom right.
4) Choose a signup method.
Please make sure you use an account with a valid phone and email as they are needed for password recovery.
Explore Feed:
Explore consists of a feed of videos and images based on where you are searching on the interactive map and suggestion panel. Pinch the map to zoom in and out to find the types of locations that interest you, or select a suggestion from our list!
Setting up your profile
Adding a profile photo:
To add or change a profile photo or video
1) Tap Profile in the bottom right.
2) Tap Gears / Settings Icon.
3) Tap Edit Profile.
4) Select or take a photo from your gallery.
Please make sure photos are at least 20x20 pixels to upload.
Changing your username
A username for example is @username. Other users will be able to see your @name.

To change your username:
1) Tap Profile in the bottom right.
2) Tap Gears / Settings Icon.
3) Tap Edit Profile
4) Enter your desired username.
Your username can only be changed once every 7 days. Usernames can only contain letters, numbers, underscores, and periods.
Linking another social media account
Add another social media account to your Freespirit profile:
1) Tap Profile in the bottom right.
2) Tap Gears / Settings Icon.
3) Select Add Instagram to your profile to connect your social media accounts.
Reset Password
To reset a password while logged in:
1) Tap Profile in the bottom right.
2) Tap Gears / Settings Icon.
3) Tap Change Password
4) Enter your old and new password.
To reset a password when you are not logged in:
1) Log out of your Freespirit Account.
2) Select Forgot Password.
3) Enter a Confirmation email to verify the Account.
4) Enter your new password.
Users who have joined Freespirit using another social media account, passwords will need to be reset from that platform.
